This book grabbed my attention from the first chapter. It has been a while since I’ve read one of this author’s books, missed her writing! The hurt, the sadness, the happiness, I loved everything about this story. But what I liked most was the story wasn’t focused only on their relationship. Actually, I think it was mostly about their own demons and how they tried to fight with it and help each other. This story isn’t a thriller but the whole time I was at the edge of my seat and chewing my nails! Told in dual POV, 1st person. It’s a second chance, standalone novel. So well-written and full-on angst. It’s well-paced with well-developed characters. Overall, loved it and hope you enjoy it as well!
